I love to wear all heels: stilettos, platforms anything that looks hot!
I always noticed a tiny bump below my little toe but ignored it.
This is no longer just a tiny bump! You can also start to see a regular bunion forming at my big toe.
I don't know what happened my tailor bunions enlarged and became so painful in a super short amount of time. I'm talking like in a month and half I went from no big deal to OMG pain! I freaked out and started wearing flats every day. I did a ton of research online and went to see a podiatrist. Turns out, I had a pretty big callous and that was enough to cause additional rubbing in the shoes I normally wear and for me to change the way I walk causing this new found foot pain. He shaved off the callous and said it could be all I need. Surgery would the only option to correct the bunion because your bones shift out of place. Bunions are progressive and they would only get worse over the years. Getting old is not fun.
I went home and did crazy online research. If I needed to have surgery to have nice feet again, maybe that was the answer. My guy told me surgery is my last option. It is expensive and painful. I need to invest in better fitting shoes. Being vain and considering surgery I looked at a lot of before/after surgery photos.
I also read forums where people have claimed to gotten rid of their bunions with toe straightening. I know that sounds silly and brutal but I am totally willing to try. I invested in
Comfy Toes Foot Alignment Socks,
Correct Toes and new shoes.
My goal is to keep the problem from getting worse and if it is possible get rid of my tailor's bunion. Because the bone is already deformed from the X-ray I got at the podiatrist, I think I have reasonable expectations to think there is no way anything I do on my own will cause them to completely go away.
Initial purchase:
1-
Correct Toes It is too soon to tell but I will keep updating my progress even if there isn't any.
$65.00, expensive but can be worn inside shoes
I chose this product over yoga toes and other similar products because it can be worn daily with your shoes. They come in S/M and a larger size.
